Longtails 2 Budgies 4
In Bermuda Hockey Federation action at the National Sports Center, the National Sport recognized by the Department of Sport and Recreation saw the Budgies defeat the Longtails 4 – 2.
The Budgies took the lead in the 6th minute when Jessica Charles scored from a Penalty Corner, but in the 21st minute, Isaac Davis equalized for the Longtails with a Field Goal.
The Budgies would go ahead again in the 34th minute when Yvonna Osborne scored a Field Goal to make it 2 – 1, and then in the 49th minute Osborne scored her second Field Goal of the game to extend the Budgies lead to 3 – 1.
The Budgies would then go up 4 – 1 in the 51st minute when Lakae Tavares scored from a Penalty Corner, but the Longtails would pull a goal back in the 58th minute when Michael Schrah scored a Field Goal.
