Bermuda 5 Pakistan 3The 2022 ISBHF - International Street & Ball Hockey Federation Men’s World Championships got underway with Bermuda taking on Pakistan.
Bermuda won their opening match 5 – 3.
Bermuda jumped out to a 3 – 0 first-period lead, with 2 goals from Matthew Benson and a single strike from Robbie Bailey.
Pakistan got back into the game scoring 3 times in the second period, Pakistan got single strikes from Ozair Wahib, Zaheer Lasania, and Azum Chaudry.
Doug Lynch restored Bermuda’s lead in the third period with what proved to be the winner before Jermy Estey added the insurance goal for the win.
