It was a goal feast at the PCC Hockey Rink in the latest round of Bermuda Ball Hockey Winter League action with 20 goals scored in a double-header.
Frontier 7 Spine and Sport 6
In the opener Frontier edged Spine and Sport 7 – 6, with the winner coming in the shoot-out. With the teams deadlocked at 6 – 6, Matthew Benson’s Shootout goal earned them the win.
Benson scored four timed during regulation to lead the Frontier to victory, while Jeremy Estey, and Matt Mcphail added a goal each.
Christopher Merritt scored three times for Spine and Sport, who also got two goals off the stick of Brandon Willett, and a single strike from Craig Rowat.
BDA Spirits 3 Water Hazard 4
In the nightcap, the Water Hazard’s edged BDA Spirits 4 – 3.
Shane Matchett led the Water Hazard’s with a hat-trick, while James Amaral added the other, while BDA Spirits got single strikes from Mathieu Desjardins, Christian Hauggaard, and Jeff Loper.
