Sydney Fischer and her Blair Academy Varsity Field Hockey teammates played their first game since 2019.
They came out victorious with an 8-0 win over the Sparta High School, earning their first win of the regular season.
For Fischer, it was the first real game she had playing for Blair, and she would also find the back of the net twice in the win. Blair also got two goals from Ali Frazier, and Maddie Miller, while Ella Sloan, and Ella Gaitan.
Gaitan also recorded four assists, dribbling through multiple opponents and creating opportunities for teammates throughout the game.
Defensively, Sammi Antonelli held down the backfield communicating with her outside backs to make sure the ball stayed out of the defensive zone, while Caelan Folino had nine saves as goalkeeper.
