Boaz Island Beer Barons 7 Hamilton Hurricanes 5
The Boaz Island Beer Barons defeated the Hamilton Hurricanes 7 – 5 in the opener.
The Boaz Island Beer Barons got two goals apiece from Mathieu Desjardins, and Brandon Willett, while Ryan Wilson, Kris Abramowski, and Kevin DeSilva all added a goal each, while the Hamilton Hurricanes got 2 goals off the stick of Derrick Farmer, and single strikes from Scott Shannon, Matt Benson, and Chris Grantier.
Paget Pistols 8 Pembroke Pirates 10
The nightcap saw a total of 18 goals scored as the Pembroke Pirates defeated the Paget Pistols 10 – 8.
The Pembroke Pirates got a hat-trick from Matt Katzsch, while both Christopher Jackson, and Mike Malott scored twice. Pete Brodsky, Mark Heintzman, and Matty Ingleman all added a goal each.
The Paget Pistols would get a hat-trick off the stick of Brian White, while Cam Poland scored twice, Wyatt Woloshyn, Jean-Michael Tremblay, and Marcel Bouwens all added a goal each.
