The Milwaukee Admirals edged the Allen Americans 4-3 in a Shootout in the opener.
At the end of the First Period the Milwaukee Admirals held a 2 – 1 lead Robbie Bailey and Ross Rufiange found the back of the net, while the Allen Americans lone goal came off the stick of Jacob Marchant.
The Allen Americans scored two unanswered goals in the Second Period, Craig Rowat and Adam Fenos both found the back of the net.
Marchant scored the lone goal in the Third Period, as the teams would end 4-3.

In the night cap the Muskegon Lumberjacks edged the Lone Star Brahmas 6 – 5 in a Shootout.
Jeremy Estey scored 4 goals for the Muskegon Lumberjacks, while Pete Brodsky and Brandon Willett added a goal each, while Mathieu Desjardins and Dustin Luck scored 2 goals each for the Lone Star Brahmas, with Andrew Leavy added the other.
