Senior Kate Driscoll and sophomore Lauren Curley both scored late in the first quarter to help Isabella Boonstra and her 19th-ranked Babson College build a two-goal lead on the way to a 4-1 victory over visiting MIT in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) field hockey action. With the win, Babson improves to 5-2 overall and 1-0 in league play, while MIT slips to 4-3 overall and 0-1 in the NEWMAC. Senior Tori Roche scored a pair of fourth-quarter goals and sophomore Millie Brady chipped in with an assist for the Beavers. Fellow sophomore Cassidy Riley finished with five saves in the win. First-year Paige Forester scored her team-leading ninth goal of the season for the Engineers, who got five saves from junior Grace Moore.
