Strathroy Rockets 8 London Knights 4
The Strathroy Rockets scored three goals in the first two periods on their way to a 8 – 4 win over the London Knights.
Brandon Willett led the way with 5 goals for the Strathroy Rockets who also got single strikes from Shannon Gosse, Jeffrey Ingelman and Aaron Cook, while the London Knights got 2 goals off the stick of Craig Rowat and single strikes from Brian White and Derrick Farmer.
Gloucester Rangers 1 Windsor Spitfires 8
The Windsor Spitfires defeated the Gloucester Rangers 8 – 1 in the nightcap.
The Windsor Spitfires got two goals apiece from Chris Grantier and Matt Benson, while Matt Katzsch, Jacob Notermann, Mathieu Desjardins and Josh Bush all added a goal each. The lone Gloucester Rangers goal came in the final period off the stick of Christopher Jackson.
