Bermuda Ball Hockey Play-offs Round Up

The Bermuda Ball Hockey 2018-2019 season has moved into the Playoffs and on the opening evening it saw a double header that produced 6 goals in two games.

The Kelowna Rockets and the Guelph Storm both took Series Leads.

Las Vegas Wranglers 1 Kelowna Rockets 2

The Kelowna Rockets edged the Las Vegas Wranglers 2 – 1 in the opener.

Adam Mattatall would give the Kelowna Rockets the lead in the First Period which was the game’s only goal until the Final Period.

Two minutes into the Third Period Brian White would level the score at 1 – 1 when he found the back of the net for the Las Vegas Wranglers.

The winner would come in the 11th minute off the stick of Jon Talbot as the Kelowna Rockets took a 2 – 1 lead and held on for the win.

Rimouski Oceanic 0 Guelph Storm 3

The nightcap saw the Guelph Storm defeat Rimouski Oceanic 3 – 0.

Christopher Merritt gave the Guelph Storm a 1 – 0 lead with a goal in the First Period.

Neither team would score in the Second Period as the Guelph Storm took their one goal lead into the Final Period.

Merritt would score his second goal of the game to double the Guelph Storm lead and then Nathan Kowalski scored the Guelph Storm’s third goal.
