Three Bermuda athletes continued competing it out for at the BISFed 2018 World Boccia Championships.
Yushae DeSilva-Andrade, Steve Wilson and Omar Hayward went back to battle on Day Two of the World Championships at the Exhibition Centre in Liverpool, England.
Competing in the Individual BC2 Division DeSilva-Andrade went down 6 – 2 to Abílio Valente from Mexico.
In his third Individual BC4 Division match of the tournament Wilson went down 10 – 0 to Niko Vasili from Greece. Wilson would then fall 6 – 1 to Davor Komar from Croatia.
Hayward went down in his first match of the day and his second of the tournament 8 – 5 to Sungjoon Jung from Japan in their Individual BC1 Division battle. Hayward would then fall 4 – 0 to world number 1 David Smith from Great Britain.
