The Bermuda Inline Ball Hockey League Season got underway with four teams in the League with Parish names.
The four teams Southampton Sailors, St. David's Islanders, Warwick Waves and the Tuckers Town Tropics will do battle in the summer league.
On the opening evening the four teams combined for 24 goals.
St. David's Islanders 8 Southampton Sailors 4
In the season opener the St. David's Islanders defeated the Southampton Sailors 8 – 4, the St. David's Islanders were led by Jeremy Estey who had a hat-trick, while Pete Brodsky added 2 goals, Samuel Vieira, Christopher Jackson and Jeffrey Ingelman all added a goal each, the Southampton Sailors got a hat-trick from Andrew Curnow and a single strike from Chris Grantier.
Warwick Waves 9 Tuckers Town Tropics 3
In the nightcap the Warwick Waves defeated the Tuckers Town Tropics 9 – 3. The Warwick Waves got hat-tricks from Matthew Benson and Josh Bush, while Brian White scored twice and Jim Cappadona scored the other, the Tuckers Town Tropics got single strikes from Ryan Wilson, Christopher Merritt and Tom Miller.
