Erica Haley competed in the St. Anthony’s Triathlon, were Paula Findlay claimed her second race win of the year.
Hawley competing in the Female Pro Division crossed the line 7th in the Division and 32nd overall clocking a time of 2:01.44. Findlay, won the women’s race in a time of 1:55:35.
Hawley was clocked at 20.03 on the 1.5K Swim Course, 1:01.28 on the 40km Bike Course, before closing out with a time of 37:14 on the 10K Run Course.
Following the race, Hawley posted on social media, “It was so much fun (and really freaking hard) trying something new in my first non-draft legal event.
Borrowing a Time Trial Bike a week before the race may have not been ideal prep, but I tried to put myself in the mix with these speedy, aero ladies.
I am already looking forward to getting back on the roadie and back to the drafting world.”
