Kent Richardson went to the start line for the XTERRA Malta 2022, knowing that a chance for a spot in the World Championships was up for grabs.
Competing in the Male 60 – 64 Age Group Division, Richardson clocked a winning time of 3:38.16.
Richardson had a time of 29:49 on the Swim, 1:57.38 on the Bike, and then clocked a 1:07.58 on the Run Course.
With the result, Richardson claimed a spot in the World Championships.
Richardson said to www.islandstats.com, “This race wasn’t a given, the swim was okay, but I lost the lead on a steep rocky downhill on the bike, however, I was able to climb to push the run for a good win.”
