BTA Olympic Distance Championships 2021

On a blustery and challenging conditions morning at the Clearwater Beach, the Bermuda Triathlon Association hosted their Butterfield National Triathlon Olympic Distance Championship.

Philip Mace and Ashley Couper were crowned the Male and Female Champions.

Mace would clock a time of 2:07:12, Dustin Luck was second in 2:13:08, and Couper finished third overall clocking a time of 2:16:02.

Daniel Samilski was the third male finisher and fourth overall with a time of 2:16:48, Sharon Hammond was the second female finisher and 8th overall clocking 2:31:04, Leana Coetsee was the third female finisher and 10th overall clocking 2:37:42.

Tommy Marshall won the Individual Sprint Distance race crossing the line in a time of 59:39, Alan Potts was second in 1:03:12, and Manning Smith finished third clocking 1:09:50.

Finishing 5th overall was the first female finisher Liana Medeiros who was clocked at 1:12:00, Amber Mehta was the second female finisher at the distance, and 10th overall clocking 1:14:24, and Jennifer Lightbourne finished one spot back for the third female finisher clocking a time of 1:15:33.
