Flora Duffy has announced via Social Media that she has withdrawn from the Professional Triathletes Organization (PTO) 2020 Championship at CHALLENGEDAYTONA.
The PTO 2020 Championship was to be the highlight of a difficult year for Duffy and others, it was designed for the world’s top triathletes to compete for a $1,000,000 prize purse, and the event is still on without Duffy taking part.
Duffy, the Bermudian multi-world champion, posted, “New bike, new bars, new kit, new fit but no race.
For a few reasons, I have decided to pull out of the PTO Championships in Daytona. But when the time is right I’ll race this little rocket.”
