The Bermuda Triathlon Association’s Super Sprint Thursday Night Series enjoyed another great session at Clearwater Beach on a very hot and humid evening.
A total of 46 Athletes were registered with 15 youngsters taking part in the shorter race – 100m Swim / 5.3km Bike / 800m Run, 21 athletes (including some juniors) took part in the longer race – 200m Swim / 8km Bike / 1.6km Run and 8 athletes competed in varied combinations.
Youngster Coelan Cabral had an incident on the bike and had to be taken to the Lamb Foggo Urgent Care Centre by his parents but it he was understood to be fine.
Tommy Marshall won the Longer Distance race with a time of 23:05, Karen Smith finished second clocking 25:58 and finishing third was Clive Langley who clocked 26.32.
Harris Fleming won the Short Distance event with a time of 18:33.
