What a year it has been for Flora Duffy, which can possibly end with two more Major Awards.
Duffy with her performances over 2016 will no doubt win the Bermuda Female Athlete of the Year Award (If she is put forward), but another Award which can come in December is the Female Triathlete of the Year.
Duffy vaulted into everyone's minds as a potential Olympic contender thanks to her go-for-broke Swim and Bike style that saw her take overall wins in Stockholm, Montreal and the all-important Grand Final in Cozumel.
She followed her impressive ITU season up with her third straight win in Maui at the Xterra World Championship and then a runner-up finish at the Island House Triathlon.
Duffy then won the 2016 Snowy Mountains ITU Cross Triathlon World Championship in Australia, and winning an historic third World Championship Title.
