Sandys Boat Club defeated Spanish Point Boat Club One 3 - 0 to win the Mike Zimmerman Team Challenge.

Sandys Captain, Martin Siese, opened the scoring by defeating Todd Dziak in the 1st of 2 games together, 65-25

Siese then capitalized on that by taking the next game on the black ball, 39-35.

A comeback wasn't to be for Spanish Point, when Captain Stewart Greenslade succumbed to Sandy's Peter Bromby in the 3rd game, on the final black, 44-37 to end their title hopes for this season.

In the Bermuda Open Singles Semi-Final Steven Bremar defeated Toby Wright, 3 - 1 at Warwick Workmen’s Club 60-50, 56-15, 37-61, 50-11.

Bremar now faces Matt Garrod in the final over 7 games, which is to be played at Sandys Boat Club on April 27th at 7 pm

In League action, the battle continued this week for 2nd place as Warwick Workman’s Club Two secured an unassailable lead to win for the first time in 5 years

Sandys Boat Club defeated Spanish Point Boat Club One 4 - 2 in their rescheduled outstanding match at Spanish Point

Captain Martin Siese, opened the scoring for SBC when he defeated Chris Dakin 61-29 in the 1st game

Todd Dziak equalized for Spanish Point when he defeated Richie Beale, 88-15 in the 1st of 2 games together

Beale restored the lead for Sandys when he overcame Dziak in the 2nd of their 2 games, 44-35

The 4th game saw Paul Fedden make it 3 for Sandys, when he defeated Alan Smith 62-8 in the 1st of their 2 games together

Stewart Greenslade clawed the next one back, however, when he defeated Martin Siese 43-32

Victory belonged to Sandys however, as Paul Fedden sealed the win, defeating Alan Smith once again, 76-17

This result rules Spanish Point One out of the race for League runners up.

The Runners Up will be decided when Watford, the other contenders, take on Spanish Point One in the remaining tie of the season, next Tuesday evening at Spanish Point.
