Three matches were played in the latest round of the Bermuda Snooker League play
Warwick Workman’s Club One 3 Spanish Point Boat Club One 2
Trevor Mouchette gave Warwick the lead when he defeated Chris Dakin 58-20, Spanish Point Boat Club One would lead 2 – 1 after Paul Fedden defeated Todd 71-30 & 44-25, Gary Bascome would level the game at 2 – 2 when he defeated Stewart Greenslade 57-28.
The match would be decided with the Doubles as Mouchette and Bascome defeated Dakin and Greenslade 62-37 to earn Warwick a 3 – 2 win.
Watford Sports Club 3 Sandys Boat Club 2
Watford Sports Club went ahead after Keino Zuill defeated Martin Siese 63-20, but when Aaron Bean lost to Sandys Boat Club’s Richard Beale 46-31 the score was level at 1 – 1.
Winslow Smith would put Watford ahead for a second time after Peter Bromby 41-25 & 60-28 and in the Doubles, Zuill and Bean went down to Beale and Siese 54-27.
Spanish Point Boat Club Two 3 Warwick Workman’s Club Two 3
This match would end in a draw after Steven Bremar had the High Break of 25 for Warwick. Karl Wilson was defeated by Zane DeSilva 35-47 as Warwick took a 1 – 0 lead, and when the match between John Orr from Spanish Point was split with Bremar 62-37 & 55-63 Warwick would hold a 2 – 1 lead.
Billy Wotten would then defeat Ray DeSilva 52-35 as Spanish Point leveled the game at 2 – 2, and in the Doubles Wilson and Wotton defeated DeSIlva and Maurice Hawkins 63-24.
