Watford Sports Club defeated the Royal Artillery Association 3 – 0 in their First Round battle, Winslow Smith gave Watford Sports Club a 1 – 0 lead when he defeated Jelani Hollis 56 – 26, the Watford Sports Club would go up 2 – 0 when Mark Iris defeated Jacal Washington 74 – 38 and the match would end as a contest after Aaron Bean defeated Kyle Williams 49 – 24.

Spanish Point Boat Club One 3 Sandys Boat Club Two 1

The Spanish Point Boat Club One won their match 3 – 1 over the Sandys Boat Club Two. Ed Gumbs would give the Spanish Point Boat Club One the lead after he defeated Aaron Carvello 58 – 13, but Darren Xuereb drew Sandys Boat Club Two level after he defeated Chris Dakin 50 – 22.
Paul Fedden would put the Spanish Point Boat Club One back in front defeating Tyler Siese 57 – 19 and then Stewart Greenslade would end the contest after he defeated Chris Bromby 46 – 31.

Warwick Workmen’s Club Two 3 Warwick Workmen’s Club One 2

In the battle of the Warwick Workmen’s Club the number One team defeated the number Two team 3 – 2.

The number Two team would take the lead when Gary Bascome defeated Maurice Hawkins 57 – 46, Steven Bremar drew the number One team level after he defeated Trevor Mouchette 55 – 43. Todd would restore the Two team lead after he defeated Zane DeSilva 60 – 39, but Ray DeSilva would draw the number one team level again after he defeated Andre Burgess 52 – 31.

The match would come down to a decider that saw Bremar defeat Burgess.

Mark Iris had the high break of the First Round with a score of 27.
