Sandys Boat Club defeated the Spanish Point Boat Club Two team 4 - 2, Martin Siese and John Orr split the first two games with Siese winning game one 49-39 and Orr taking game two 66-32.
Peter Bromby gave Sandys Boat Club a 2 - 1 lead after he defeated Scott Barnes 40-22, Richard Beale defeated John Burns 55-32 as Sandys Boat Club went ahead 3 - 1, the Sandys Boat Club Doubles team of Bromby and Beale defeated Barnes and Burns 70-27 to give the Sandys Boat Club a 4 - 1 lead, Spanish Point Boat Club Two picked up their second point when Orr won the high break of 25.
