Countdown to Bermuda Match Play Championships

The Bermuda Match Play Championships will be played at Port Royal Golf Course this weekend. The Stroke Play Qualifier to determine seeding for the event will take place on Friday morning and the 1st Round of the Match Play will commence on Saturday morning followed by the Quarter-Finals in the afternoon. On Sunday morning the Semi-Finals will take place and the Finals will be held in the afternoon.

The reigning Men’s Champion Jarryd Dillas will be defending his title in the Match Play as the default #1 seed and is therefore not required to qualify on Friday.

Likewise, in the Ladies Championship Division, Kim Botelho is the defending Champion and she will also be defending her title in the #1 seed position.

Unfortunately, the Senior Men’s Champion, Calvin Hendrickson is not able to play this year and the title is therefore wide open.
