Kenny Leseur and was not a member of the Butler University Men’s Golf team that opened the 2022 season with a top-five finish at the Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational.

Wright State repeated as champions of the event, finishing the 54-hole event at 846 (+6). That was good for a 13-shot lead over host Ball State (859).
Oakland (third; 864) and Loyola (fourth, 869) were also among the leaders. There were 15 teams in the field. Butler stood in a tie for third following the first 36 holes.
Butler shot a 10-over 290 on the Final Day in Muncie.
