The 1st round of the Bermuda Stroke Play Championships got underway at Port Royal Golf Club under slightly unsettled weather conditions
In the Men’s Championship Division, James Godwin is the First Round leader after shooting an Even Par round 71, the defending champion Damien Palanyandi is in second one stroke back, and Adam Perry is in third after his opening round of 3-over par 74.
Ebonie Cox has a commanding lead in the Ladies Championship Division after her Opening Round of 5-over par 76, the defending champion Kim Botelho and Tracy Burgess are tied for second at 14-over par 85, and Katrin Burnie is one stroke back.
Hav Trott and Christopher Phillips are leading the Senior Men’s Division at 5-over par 76’s, the defending champion Arthur Jones is in second at 7-over par 78, with Roderick Forrest, and Baldonick Fernandez both tied at 8-over par 79.
Burgess is leading the Senior Ladies Division at 14-over par, with Burnie one stroke back, and Linda Down is in third at 18-over 89.
