Christopher Ford and James Godwin, are tied for third with Julian Brassington and Timothy Brewer who shot 1-over par.
Ebonie Cox and Tracy Nash will go into the Final Round with a four-stroke lead over the Ladies Championship field, the pair shot a first round 4-over par 75.
The defending champions Katrin Burnie and Linda Down shot an opening-round 8-over par 79, with Cindy Ratzlaff and Kathy Lloyd-Hines are tied for third with Ann Symonds and Tracy Burgess at 9-over par 80.
The Senior Men's Championship is being led by David Pickering and Gary Carr who shot a 4-over par 75, Craig Christensen and Jose Gerardo are in second after they shot 5-over par 76, and Calvin Hendrickson and Simon Hendrickson finished the day I third shooting 7-over par 78.
