Quinton Sherlock continued competing in the seventh edition of the Gold Fields Professional Golfers Association (PGA) tournament at the Damang Golf Club at Tarkwa.
Francis Torgah sits atop the leaderboard after carding a three-under-par 69 on the second day, the best round of the day was a 7-under 65 by Vincent Torgah, who moved from 14th to T3rd at 145.
Sherlock shot a five-stroke better Second Round 9-over par 81, which sees him remain T19th with David Doe, and Richard Amponsah.
Sherlock speaking with www.islandstats.com after his round said, “This is my first 4-day pro tournament in over 10 years, and I am working my way back in.
“It's a course where if you don't have the experience certain shots you wouldn't understand how to play. I only had one day to practice so still trying to get comfortable out there,” continued Sherlock.
Sherlock concluded, “The good news is that there are still 2 more days.”
