The Bermuda Equestrian Federation (BEF) extended its heartfelt gratitude to Anne Cherry, who has worn her “BEF office hat” with dedication for more than 25 years.
Cherry has voluntarily given of her time and expertise in all areas to support the Bermuda Equestrian Federation and its members. This has included but is not limited to, serving as the BEF Membership Secretary, as well as Show Secretary for numerous competitions including the Bermuda Agricultural Exhibition. Until recently Cherry maintained meticulous point records for the BEF End of Year Championship Awards.
Internationally, Cherry voluntarily served as the Caribbean Equestrian Association’s Honorary Secretary for 18 years. Cherry also managed the task of registering Bermuda’s overseas competitors and their horses for International FEI competitions. These represent only a portion of the many tasks that Cherry voluntarily undertook for the benefit of the equestrian community.
On behalf of the Bermuda Equestrian Federation, its Affiliates, and Membership, sincere thanks and gratitude have been extended to Cherry for her dedication and invaluable contribution to Bermuda’s Equestrian sport.
Without such dedication, the growth of the sport and its achievements would not have been possible.
