Cody Rego competed in the Palm Beach County Sports Commission CSI4*/2* International Horse Jumping event in Week 11 of the 2022 Wellington Equestrian Festival (WEF).
Rego and Tanzanite De Samilly won the Platinum Perf./USEF Show Jumping Talent Search 2* Class with a Clear Round time of 73.477.
They would also win the WIHS Overall Class.
With a score of 92, Rego and Tanzanite De Semilly won the WIHS Jumper Phase CALI Class, they would finish third in the WIHS Hunter Phase CALI Class with a score of 89.35.
The WIHS (Washington International Horse Show) is an official USEF Heritage competition that will be held from October 24th – 30th 2022.
The Bermuda Equestrian Federation extends its further congratulations to Rego who, as of March 28th, 2022, was 15th in the WIHS Rankings for the Equitation East Division.
The Platinum Performance/USEF Show Jumping Talent Search Program consists of qualifying classes held across the USA. A unique feature of this program is that a FINAL is held on each USA Coast. The FINAL East will be held in New Jersey and FINAL West is held in California.
