Saint Augustine scored 174.5 points to cruise past Virginia Union (126.5) and Virginia State (105) in the men's events. Johnson C. Smith was fourth (100) followed by Bowie State (61), Lincoln (Pa.) (50) and Livingstone (24).
Dill won two events capturing the 800m title and the 1500m title.
During the Preliminaries for the Men’s 800m Dill finished second with a time of 2:01.43, he then clocked a time of 1:57.52 in the final to take the title.
In the Men’s 1500m, Dill clocked a time of 4:11.83, while Mouchette finished 5th with a Personal Best time of 4:21.25.
Mouchette finished 2nd in the Men’s 5000m race clocking a time of 17:50.20.
