Three Bermudian members of the St Johnsbury Academy Track and Field team competed in the Essex Invitational which also served as a New England Qualifier.
In the Boy’s 400 Meters, Korey Simons finished 10th recording a time of 53.56, while Sajan Harvey finished 30th stopping the clock with a time of 56.06.
Quinnae Outerbridge clocked a time of 2:26.53 on her way to finishing 5th in the Women’s 800 Meters, she then ran the second leg for the St Johnsbury Women’s 4x400 Relay Varsity team that recorded the win in 4:09.02.
Outerbridge then led off for the St Johnsbury Women’s 4x800 Relay Varsity team, that also recorded a win stopping the clock with a time of 10:15.47.
Simons led off for the St Johnsbury Men’s 4x400 Relay team that finished with the 4th fastest time of 3:39.25, while Harvey ran the St Johnsbury Men’s 4x800 Relay team 2nd leg as they finished 2nd with a time of 8:25.46.
