Sakari Famous won the Women’s High Jump competing in the third annual Torrin Lawrence Memorial in Athens.
With a top leap of 1.78m Famous out leaped a field of 8 jumpers.
Famous came into the event at the height of 1.70m, she missed on her first attempt, but cleared on her second attempt.
Famous would clear the bar on the first attempt at the 1.75m height, famous then cleared the 1.75m mark on her third attempt with two other jumpers missed the height in three attempts.
