J'auna James IslandStats.com Bermuda athletes help the Thomas College Track and Field team opened the 2018 Outdoor Season at the Jim Sheehan Memorial Invitational hosted by Fitchburg State University.
The Thomas College Men finished fifth overall out of 16 schools, while the Women's team finished seventh out of 15 teams.
On the Men's side in Field Events, Mykal Glasgow recorded a second place finish in the Triple Jump with a top leap of 11.54m, he would then finish fourth in the High Jump leaping 1.70m.
In the Sprints, Zenawi Bowen would finish 2nd in Heat 6 of the Men’s 100m Dash clocking a time of 13.14 finishing 34th. Bowen would run the anchor leg for the Thomas College Men's 4 x 100m Relay team that finished 5th clocking a time of 47.51.
In Women's Sprints, J'auna James finished tenth in the women's 100 meters stopping the clock in a time of 14.78 after finishing 3rd in Heat 3 of the Preliminaries.
James would finish 16th in the Women’s 200m Dash after finishing 6th on Heat 3 with a time of 30.56.
