Iowa-based Perinchief who has taken the High Jump World by storm jointly tops the 2016 World Under 20 list with a 2.26m lifetime best.
The year started off with Perinchief represented Iowa Central Community College at the Minnesota State Alumni Open Indoor Track Meet.
Perinchief won the Menís High Jump with a top leap of 2.16m.
Perinchief was one of three Iowa Central students to set new School Records during the Iowa Duals hosted by the University of Iowa.
Perinchief set a New School Record on his way to winning the Menís Triple Jump with a top leap of 14.51 meters.
On Sunday April 17th, 2016 at the Wichita State K.T. Woodman Outdoor Classic at the Cessna Stadium, Perinchief broke the Bermuda Junior National Record which was held by Clarence "Nicky" Saunders height of 2.22m set back in July 1981.
Perinchief in this competition recorded a Personal Best jump on his way to winning the Menís High Jump with a leap of 2.26m.
Perinchief reached the final of the High Jump at the IAAF World Under-20 Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland.
Perinchief was also named the Regional USTFCCCA Menís Field Athlete of the Year.
