David Patrick the Oklahoma Men's Basketball Associate Head Coach and his team kept its postseason alive with a 72 - 67 win over No. 2-seeded Baylor in the Quarter-Finals of the Big 12 Men's Basketball Tournament, and Umoja Gibson delivered the dagger.
OU held a 65-62 lead with 48 seconds left in the contest when the senior guard dusted Jeremy Sochan on the perimeter. Gibson got to the rim and got bumped in the back on his way up for the layup, but that wasn't enough to stop him.
The ball fell through the rim as the whistle sounded, and Gibson completed the and-one play by draining the free throw.
Gibson finished with 14 points and five rebounds. Jacob Groves added 15 points and nine rebounds.
