The Bermuda Basketball Association’s Island Basketball League continued inside the Cedarbridge Academy Gymnasium, with a double-header that produced 206 points in the two matches.
The Answer went down 64 – 61 to the Splash Brothers in the opener. Jason Lowe would lead the Splash Brothers with 16 points, and a team-high 9 rebounds, Jahzion Lugo would score 33 points for The Answer, who got 8 rebounds from Amaury Majors.
In the nightcap, the Young Goatz defeated the Franchise 45 – 36. Dion Easton led the Young Goatz with 18 points and 9 rebounds, while Akil Smith scored 19 points for the Franchise, with Kevin Minors grabbing 8 rebounds.
