Caelin Peters and his Connecticut College Men's Basketball teammates defeated Coast Guard 79-70 in a hard-fought battle on Wednesday evening at Roland Hall.
Sophomore Billy Whelan scored a career-high 27 points to lead Connecticut College to victory.
Whelan led all scorers with 27 points, 20 of them coming in the second half. Cam Schainfeld added 17 points and four assists. Jarron Flynn also contributed 17 points in the win.
Peters would only play 4 minutes of action, he did not shoot nor did he score.
