Although not much has changed from last year's squad, UPIKE Women's Basketball had a resounding debut to its 2019-20 campaign with a 91-69 win against Amali Smith and her Wilberforce Ohio Women’s Basketball teammates.
Smith and her teammates were outscored 23-16 in the first quarter, they were then outscored 23-18 in the second quarter as the University of Pikeville took a 46 – 34 lead to the break.
In the third quarter Smith and her teammates were outscored 22 – 18 and then the University of Pikeville outscored Smith and her teammates 23-17.
