A total of 282 points were scored in a Bermuda Basketball League sponsored by ONE Communications double header inside the Somersfield Academy Gymnasium.
Game 1 saw the Devonshire Chargers defeat the Smith’s Court Kings 81 – 44, Kevin Stephens led the Devonshire Chargers with a double-double, Stevens would score a game high 33 Points and grabbed 11 Rebounds, he would also add 6 Assists, 1 Steal and 1 Blocked Shot.
Sheldon Bahadosingh scored 13 Points for the Smith’s Court Kings, he would also grab 10 Rebounds, 3 Assists and 2 Steals.
Game 2 needed Overtime as the Southampton Wolfpack edged the Hamilton Tsunamis 79 – 78, Mykal Glasgow led the Southampton Wolfpack with 22 Points, 6 Rebounds, 6 Assists, 3 Steals and 3 Blocked Shots, while Dean Jones recorded a double-double for the Hamilton Tsunamis, he scored a game high 32 Points, 20 Rebounds, he added 3 Assists, 2 Steals and 3 Blocked Shots.
