The 2019 Bermuda Netball Association's Summer League Season got underway at the Bernard Park, with four matches on tap.
B.U.T Teachers went down 36 - 11 to the Pheonix Flames, MVP Ebonie Cox led the Pheonix Flames to victory with 30 goals, while Shanelle Lewis and Eshe Grant both added 3 goals each, the B.U.T Teachers got 7 goals from MVP Danielle Raynor and 4 goals from Makeda Goater. 4
The Xtreme Sports Scholars defeated the PHC Zebras 29 - 5, Micah Pond would lead the Xtreme Sports Scholars to victory with 11 goals, Elishe Smith added 9 goals, MVP Selah Tuzo would scored 5 times and Amali Smith scored 4 goals. PHC's 5 goals would come from Vernika Symonds.
MVP Jasmine Renfroe scored 23 goals leading Rain to a 31 - 17 win over the Under 16 team, Jaylynn Hines added 6 goals and Nafisa Robinson scored twice, the Under 16 team got 8 goals from Amayah Burt, MVP K'xiyae Gibbons added 6 goals and Amara Richards scored 3 times.
The Old Kids on the Court went down 32 - 4 to the BHB Angels, the BHB Angels were led to victory by MVP Charlene Bogle-Gomez who scored 25 goals, Joanne Rogers added 4 goals and Norette Simmons scored 3 times. Emma king scored 4 goals for the Old Kids on the Court, with Amber Chamberlain named the teams MVP.
