Americans Bryan Morseman and Megan Gubbins were crowned the Male and Female PwC Bermuda Marathon Champions, while Abdulmenan Kasim Gelatu and Nuhamin Bogale Ashame both from Ethiopia were crowned the Male and Female PwC Bermuda Half Marathon Champions.
Morseman clocked a time of 2:28:52 over a new course that saw the runners start in Dockyard, Bermuda’s Sean Trott was second with a time of 2:43:04 and American Vincent Dussault finished third with a time of 3:03:27.
Gubbins was 5th overall stopping the clock in a time of 3:10:52, Stephanie Hodge from the USA was the second female at the distance and 14th overall clocking 3:28:59 and Bermuda runner Suzanne Socki was the third female finisher and 15th overall clocking 3:29:04.
Abdulmenan Kasim Gelatu clocked a winning time of 1:07:42, Abu Kebede Diriba also from Ethiopia was second in a time of 1:08:33 and a third runner from Ethiopia Temesgen Habtemariam Bekele finished third with a time of 1:10:03.
Ashame clocked winning time finishing 7th overall with a time of 1:18:09, American Therese Haiss was the second female finisher and 9th overall with a time of 1:18:34 and Meseret Ali Basa from Ethiopia was the third female finisher and 12th overall clocking 1:20:01.
