Quinnae Outerbridge’s Hartford University Women’s Cross Country teammates opened the 2019 season at the Maribel Sanchez Souther Invitational, hosted by Dartmouth.
The women earned third place accolades, beating conference-rival Maine.
Freshman Hannah D'Orso paced Hartford in the 6k finishing in 17th place with a time of 23:58.44 in her first collegiate race, sophomore Grace Furlong was the next to cross the line for Hartford finishing in 22nd with a time of 24:20.62, freshman Gabrielle Zeller rounded out the top three finishers for Hartford crossing the line in 24:46.37 for 27th place.
Dartmouth would sweep its home meet as the women finished first with a total of 28 points.
