Isabelle Dutranoit’s teammate Elise Wright led the Wake Forest Women's Cross Country team to the team Championship at the Virginia Tech Invitational. Wright toured the 4K course in a winning time of 13:51.2 and finished five seconds in front of second place Sarah Edwards of Virginia Tech.
Freshman Madeline Rehm placed sixth overall in 13:57.90, Meredith Helton was seventh in 14:09.1 and Dutranoit was ninth in 14:11.2. Wake Forest had a composite score of 30 and finished ahead of second place Virginia Tech (31).
