The World Rugby Classic continues at the National Sports Centre North Field on Sunday, with tournament heavyweights Classic Lions and Classic France going head-to-head in a blockbuster solitary fixture.
Following an explosive opening day that saw commanding wins for Classic Canada and the Argentina Legends, attention turns to two sides boasting rich pedigree in Devonshire as they launch their 2026 campaigns.
Kick-off for the day two encounter is scheduled for 3:30pm, bringing together the flair and physicality of the French outfit against the traditional power and tactical savvy of the combined British and Irish veterans. With only one match on tap, a partisan crowd is expected to pack into the North Field stands to see who seizes the early initiative in the tournament bracket.
Live coverage of the showdown begins an hour before kick-off, with Islandstats.com going live on air from 2:30pm to provide build-up, team analysis, and pre-match perspectives from the touchline.
