The 2026 Rugby Americas North (RAN) Sevens tournament will take place on November 28th and 29th, moving to the historic Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.
Shifted to the final weekend of November, the two-day continental showcase marks the final instalment of the Trinidad and Tobago Rugby Union’s (TTRU) three-year hosting cycle.
The tournament will feature men's and women's national sides from across the region, with teams from RAN Full and Associate member countries — including Bermuda — competing across the Men’s Tier 1, Men’s Tier 2, and Women’s divisions.
Matches will be staged at the 23,000-capacity national stadium, named in honour of Hasely Crawford, who made history at Montreal 1976 as Trinidad and Tobago's first Olympic gold medallist. The venue boasts a fully prepared natural turf surface, floodlight facilities, and panoramic backdrops taking in the capital's skyline and coastline.
"Moving to the Hasely Crawford Stadium grounds the tournament in the core of rugby within Trinidad and Tobago," said TTRU president Kanisha Vincent.
"There's always something incredibly special about playing at the national stadium; the atmosphere and the energy are absolutely unmatched."
Vincent added that following two consecutive years of hosting regional competition, stepping onto the national stadium stage represents "a culmination of the country’s commitment to providing an incredible hosting experience for players, administrators, and spectators alike."
