Mercersburg Academy siblings Gabby and Joseph Cechini delivered strong performances against competitive fields at the Ben Bloser Bulldog Cross Country Invitational at Big Spring High School in Newville, Pennsylvania.
Leading the way for the Blue Storm was Gabby Cechini, who produced an impressive run in the Varsity Girls A and AA Division.
Navigating the demanding course with composure, she crossed the line in fourth position with a sharp time of 19 minutes 12.63 seconds to secure a top-five finish among the region's elite prep runners.
In the Varsity Boys A and AA Division race, Joseph Cechini battled through a crowded, fast-paced field to stop the clock in 18:24.87, finishing 94th overall to round out a solid showing for the Mercersburg duo.
