Bermuda athletes secure strong regional standing across outdoor disciplines
Bermuda's track and field contingent have reinforced their regional standing following the latest update to the North American, Central American and Caribbean Athletic Association (NACAC) 2026 outdoor rankings.
Today we take a look at the Men.
Ryan Outerbridge proved to be one of the busiest and most versatile performers on the list, featuring across four separate distance events. Outerbridge occupies 17th in the 3,000m (8:29.45), 21st in the 1,500m (3:51.74), 24th in the 10,000m (30:56.36), and 29th in the 5,000m (14:38.89).
He is joined in the middle and long-distance categories by Jake Brislane, who earned two top-20 spots after placing 15th in the 3,000m (8:16.00) and 18th in the 5,000m (14:12.69).
Dage Minors features prominently in the 1,500m, holding 21st in the region with a time of 3:47.12, while Nirobi Smith-Mills sits 29th in the 800m after clocking 1:49.09.
In the longer road events, veteran competitor Tyler Butterfield claimed 15th in the marathon rankings with a 2:25.32 performance.
On the infield, Commonwealth Games medallist and Olympian Jah-Nhai Perinchief ranks 23rd in the triple jump with a leap of 15.89m (+0.1 m/s wind).
Bermuda also made an impact in the sprint relays, with the men's 4x100m quartet of Miles Outerbridge, Norre Robinson, Cameron Basden, and Denver Tucker occupying 23rd in the region after posting a time of 40.29 seconds.
