Jake Brislane and Estienne Coetzee were crowned the Bermuda Red Cross Jingle Bell 5K Run Male and Female Champions after a successful race day. The annual event saw a strong field compete, with the top finishers delivering impressive times.
In the men's race, Jake Brislane delivered a commanding performance to break the tape and secure the title. Brislane clocked a time of 15:54, finishing well clear of the field.
The battle for the remaining podium places was tight, with Sanchez Smith crossing the line second in 16:25. Dylan Eiselt rounded out the men's podium, finishing third with a time of 17:06.
Estienne Coetzee secured the Female Champion title, finishing as the 11th runner overall. Coetzee was clocked at 18:03 to take the top spot in the women's division.
The women’s podium saw a close contest for second and third place. Colette Durkin was the second female finisher and 18th overall, clocking a time of 18:24. Completing the female podium was Evelyn Fahy, who was the 20th runner overall with a time of 18:28, just four seconds behind Durkin.
