In League Two action, Kane Crichlow marked a significant milestone, making his first league start since August and helping his Sutton United teammates defeat Gateshead 4-2.
Midfielder Milan Butterfield was part of one of the comebacks of the weekend as his Halesowen Town teammates engineered a stunning recovery. They battled back from a 4-1 deficit in the 82nd minute to secure a dramatic 4-4 draw against Bishop's Stortford FC at The Grove.
Elsewhere, Reggie Lambe and his Needham Market FC teammates edged out Alvechurch 1-0 at Bloomfields Grounds in their Southern League Premier Central match, securing all three points.
Ayleal Dill and his Southwell City FC teammates also secured a point, managing a 3-3 draw against Pinxton FC.
Willie Clemons and his Leiston FC teammates showed immense resilience. Playing a man down after just 35 minutes, they were still able to edge Real Bedford FC 1-0 in their Southern League 1 Central Premier Division fixture.
The results were not all positive: Justin Donawa and his Brackley Town teammates were defeated 2-0 by Woking Football Club in their Enterprise National League battle. Roger Lee's Heanor Town went down 3-1 to Skegness Town.
On the bench, Keziah Martin was an unused substitute as his Buxton United FC teammates lost 2-1 to Merthyr Town FC, and Ajani Burchall was also an unused substitute for Wimborne Town in their 2-2 draw with Gloucester.
