Joseph Cechini represented the Mercersburg Academy at the Mercersburg Invitational 2025, helping his team secure a strong second-place finish in the Varsity Boys race.
Cechini was a key scorer for the team, completing the 5K course in 11th place with a time of 18 minutes, 3.96 seconds (18:03.96).
The overall team title was a tight contest, with Mercersburg Academy accumulating 46 points, finishing just six points behind the victorious Bullis School, who took the win with 40 points. Cechini's contribution ensured Mercersburg was firmly in the battle for the top spot.
