Syhon Goater played a pivotal role for his Radcliffe FC Under 18 teammates as they secured a commanding 4-0 victory over Bootle Football Club in the FA Youth Cup at the Neuven Stadium.
Radcliffe's attack started strong, and they were quickly rewarded for their efforts. Already leading 1-0, Goater was played through on goal one-on-one. The young Bermudian showed composure beyond his years, calmly slotting the ball into the back of the net to make it 2-0 after just eight minutes.
Goater continued to be a threat throughout the half. In the 30th minute, he exchanged passes with a teammate in the centre of the park before creating a pocket of space for a low shot, which was gathered by the Bootle goalkeeper.
Radcliffe's dominance was reflected in the final score as they ran out 4-0 winners, with Goater's early goal setting the tone for their successful cup run.
